With effect from 01 January 2005 the business of The Fury Group, was acquired as a going concern by a consortium of management and Batsomi Investments (Pty) Ltd, a black empowerment company.
The Group comprises of 12 trading operations dealing in the sales and maintaining of both new and used vehicles and the distribution of parts. The Group represents the following brands: - Ford, Mazda, Opel, Isuzu, Chevrolet, Toyota, Honda, VW and Suzuki. The Groups prime area of trading is the Northern Suburbs of Greater Johannesburg. Also trading in Pietermaritzburg.

Batsomi Investment Holdings (Pty) Ltd is a Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) company that was formed in 1998 by Jacob R.D. Modise together with a group of black business individuals with broad diversity of management and business skills. BATSOMI has concluded a transaction in partnership with the Sumitomo Corporation of Japan and the Management team at Fury through which BATSOMI has acquired a 30% shareholding in The Fury Group. The Fury Motor Group has launched two new programs aimed at adding value to exsisting and new fleet operators as well as creating the opportunity for prospective Sales Ambassadors (referrals) to earn extra money.  These two new programs are grouped under the banner,

Congratulations to Ms Heleen Erasmus who took delivery of her brand new Chevrolet Spark on
 11 September 2009.

She won the Fury Rugby raffle held by the Fury Motor Group which has been running for it's second year now!
